About XI (Eleven)

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) takes care of pre-university education or HS (Higher Secondary) in the state. The board, which was established in 1975, is mainly responsible for conducting the Class 11 and Class 12 exams. In addition to this, the board also sets the curriculum, syllabus, textbooks, question papers and more.
